  Ever since the Urban Land Ceiling and Regulation [UL (C & R)] Ac...  moreEver since the Urban Land Ceiling and Regulation [UL (C & R)] Act came into force, major changes took place in the urban areas of Cochin.  The excess land in the hands of private individuals went into the hands of the government.  The government controlled housing societies and even the Kerala State Housing Board (KSHB) is advocating and also practicing this policy for the last so many years in developing new housing units.   According to the new policy statement, let anybody, having a proven technology and a good record of accomplishment in all respects, build on the lands vested in the government due to the [UL (C & R)] Act or acquired and/or owned for this purpose by the government.  However, only the government housing bodies or housing financing banks must sell the housing units so developed, so as to avoid profiteering by the private developers.  The recent Supreme Court judgment will definitely oblige the government to come to this conclusion.  If these decisions are in ...    less

Either he is crushed by AA, KK or AK, (unlikely given the preflop action) or he takes the pot down uncontested, are we perhaps looking into this play a bit to much here?  I'm of the opinion that his bet was week hoping to get someone to stick around with A9 and give him a few more chips when villan feels he might have the best hand.... Also I don't like the notion of fold equity here, we only really force someone who is bluffing to fold here. I'm prone to fits of super aggression, knowing that about myself I'm not sure I'm calling much less thinking that I might be a head here putting my opponent all in...  less

  Back when Full Tilt was still running, I often played the capped...  moreBack when Full Tilt was still running, I often played the capped .01/.02 cash games. I found that I did better with the cap for some strange reason, most likely because it really closed my range down to hands that had some value. I guess my shortened range came down to the fact that nearly every hand led to an all in. The cap for each player was only .40 so it really came down to flips and who had the better hand pre-flop. While this scenario seems to be a little more tame in higher stakes, I kind of feel that capped no limit really falls short when it comes to playing real cash games but its a great way to learn the fundamentals in a cheap and efficient manner.  less
