Pius Heinz's name has just been added to a long list of worth poker champions as he became Poker's latest World Champion, winning the World Series of Poker 2011 Main Event.
The newly crowned Heinz, 22, moments after his win, updated his Twitter page to state, "I hearby proudly announce that I am the 2011 World Champion of Poker!! I did it for Germany."
This morning in Las Vegas Pius lifted the WSOP crown in Las Vegas, collecting a massive $8,715,638 in prize money as well as the title of "Champion."
Pius commented, "It's got to be the happiest day of my life. I can't believe what happened - it's unreal. I just tried to focus and not make mistakes."
Heniz went into the last day of play with a distinct lead over his fellow two competitors with the final days play starting chip count at :

Martin Staszko, Czech Republic, 42,700,000
Martin Staszko quickly finished off Ben Lamb, who's had a tremendous WSOP and it was heads-up with the chip count standing at Staszko's 117.3 million to Heinz's 88.6 million.
A marathon duel eventually saw Heinz win with A, K unsuited against T, 7 of Clubs for Staszko.
