Priscila won a $3,500 package from PokerNations to attend this exciting event. Her package included: $1,000+$100 Entry Into Ladies-Only Tournament Jan 9th, 2010 3-nights accomodations at Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas (Jan 8, 9, 10 - 2010) $250 Spa Package $250 Half-Day Ladies-Only Boot Camp $1,000 Cash for airfare and expenses We're all excited for her (and a bit jealous) and hope she does well and has a great time in the Bahamas. Priskies Topics: 0 Posts: 8 Member	Created 8 months ago Ops... sorry... my PC sent it b4 I could finish writing my report for the first day. Anyways, I went down to the tournament room, where the PCA main event is still taking place. Some of the pros I got to see there were Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Mike the Mouth, Scott Nguyen and Chris Moneymaker. Took some pics that I'm gonna try to post tomorrow. I decided to get down to business playing the US$ 200.00 turbo buy-in, but got knocked out at around the 60th place out of 330. The tourney paid 40 places, so tonight was not the night. Apparently I had a quota of face cards I was gonna see tonight though, and they all decided to show up in the first 2 blind levels. The play later got a little tougher with the blinds escalating, and my best hands consisting of T6o. It was fun anyways, and I got to play against Moneymaker and see him getting knocked out. I'm gonna go out and see the Island tomorrow, so I don't think I'll have much to tell poker related, but I'll keep u guys posted, and see if I manage to post some pics. Thanks for the support, and I'll be back tomorrow with more news from the poker island!

I'd love to see pics/video of the island and the sites, you can share more than just the poker stuff with us! Glad you were able to participate in this thing and hope the poker lessons go well and provide you success in the tournament. And either way, you get to enjoy the weather and the spa package! ______________________

Priskies Topics: 0 Posts: 8 Member	Created 8 months ago Hey everyone! Sorry I missed my report yesterday, but I got to the room too late, and had a long day today. So yesterday I got to swim with dolphins, which was awesome, and walked around the city a little. When I got back to the hotel I sat down at a cash table and before I knew it, it was 2 am. Hence my absence ;-) I know I promised pics, and I'm gonna post all of them when i get back, cause being the donkey that I am, I forgot to bring my cable so I'm not able to download them. My day started early today, at the ladies bootcamp with Vanessa Rousso. That itself was already a great experience. It was a short camp, but she is a great teacher, and a really nice person as well. She holds camps regularly and I definitely recommend them if anyone is around when they take place. She has a lot to teach, obviously, and she's good at it. The tournament started with 91 players, and now we are down to 26. Yes, I'm still in (YAY), but I'm pretty short too, so I'm gonna need all the positive thinking I can get from u guys to double up a couple of times and cruise to the money, and to first place from there. They are paying 16 places, so I'm hoping I'm not gonna be as card dead tomorrow as I was today. There were lots of great players at my table, and some beginners. Now just the good players are left at my table at least. JJ was actually playing at my table, but she's out now. Pretty scary to play her. But there were other pretty good ladies playing and I'm learning a lot from them. Vanessa Rousso is still in and she's pretty big still. Lots of people asked me about Pokernations because of my tee, and I've been advertising a lot ;) I'll let u guys know how it goes tomorrow. Thank u so much for your support so far, and please keep your fingers crossed. May the poker gods be with me ;-)
