Been playing quite a bit of $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em games at Poker Stars over the past week or so and tried out the capped games (CAP on the game menu.)
For the ininitiated, at the tables I've been playing there's a cap of $40, which means that in any single hand, I can't put more than $40 into the pot.
I'm finding it good because sometimes I can get a little ahead of myself and call an all-in when really I should probably just fold. The CAP games help me stay within the realms of sense a little and even when I do have a moment of madness, it's not the end of the World.
However, they can be a little frustrating in that certain games can become a bit of an all-in fest between certain players. In all honesty, this is probably what has been making my roll a little bigger but I do still find it a pain when you're constantly getting marginal hands you can do nothing with because the rest of the table's all in with very little.
Anyone else tried the CAP games, what's your thoughts.
